Roy Johansen
Roy Johansen was born in Yorkshire in 1948 and now lives in Cross Gates, Leeds.
In 1993 Roy was diagnosed as having Oesophageal cancer. After surgery and treatment Roy took up painting as therapy to help him come to terms with his illness. Since then Roy has had a one man show in Solihull, produced a limited edition print, and has paintings in private collections worldwide. Roy is in demand to paint commissions, specialising in wildlife and pet portraits. Roy has qualified as a Bob Ross Instructor and runs day workshops and painting holidays.
