Peter Nelson
After taking early retirement from a career in music education, Peter joined the Wetherby Art Loan Scheme in 1988 becoming Chairman in 1991, the year in which the exhibition moved from the library to the Town Hall. He held this position for thirteen years. His painting business 'Nidd Art' is now in its twenty first year and over the years he has published numerous prints of which those in the "Nidd Art Collection" have been particularly successful. Peter and his wife Mollie live in Knaresborough. They have two married sons and twin girl grandchildren.
