Jane Fielder
Jane works full time as an artist, is well established and widely collected both in Yorkshire and further afield. She has her own gallery in Bingley, West Yorkshire. Jane was one of 7 artists chosen to represent Bradford and show work in Hamm, Germany. Recent solo exhibitions include the Butcher Gallery, Dublin, and her own stand at the Great Art Fair at Alexandra Palace London. She has exhibited widely and has work in collections throughout England, and in America, France, Germany and Ireland. With a special interest in colour, texture and pattern, Jane Fielder clearly expresses her optimistic nature through her bright and vibrant creations. She studied at the colleges of Dublin Farnham and Bradford, and features among her subjects flowers, children and domestic scenes. Not afraid to experiment with new subjects and media, Jane’s unwillingness to tie her work down brings a freedom and lightness to all she does. Her stimulating humorous and very popular “Janescapes” are interpretations of urban scenes from Bradford and surrounding towns
