Doreen Greenshields
Doreen is a self-taught artist and paints principally in oils and loves the texture and flexibility of the medium. Although she enjoys painting landscapes and seascapes she is mainly interested in capturing atmosphere in her paintings, irrespective of the subject matter, and when she is painting tries to convey the passion she feels about the subject. She loves to experiment with new approaches to her work and to incorporate different techniques, and she particularly likes experimenting with colour. She holds her own exhibitions from time to time and also takes commissions.
