Bruce Mulcahy RSMA Bruce was born in Dewsbury and became keen on painting at an early age. He gained an honours degree in Fine Art at Newcastle University in 1978 and began painting full time the following year. His paintings are produced almost entirely in the spot in all seasons. Amongst previous exhibitions have been the Mall Gallery London, The Singer-Friedlander Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, House of Commons, Leeds City Art Gallery and many more exhibitions throughout Yorkshire. He is a member of the Fylingdales group of artists and in 2007 was elected member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists. He gives demonstrations and is a part time Lecturer at Kirklees College |
