Alan Campbell
Alan was born in Liverpool and was educated as a Mechanical Engineer but later his career took him into Computer Software. He arrived in Yorkshire in 1985 and has lived here ever since. He lives with his wife Brenda in Collingham. He has always been interested in art and has painted in both Oils and Acrylics but it is Watercolour which has preoccupied him since his retirement from the Computer industry. His reputation has been gradually growing over the past few years. He has been a prize winner with the British Watercolour Society and although much of his work can be found in the Yorkshire area, his commissions can be found as far apart as Scotland and the South Coast. As well as his painting Alan is also a highly regarded jazz pianist who plays professionally when time allows.
